asleep和sleeping的區別

asleep是指人處於睡夢中的，通常作表語或後置定語，只有在其前有修飾語時才可作前置定語。那asleep和sleeping的區別是什麼呢？

asleep是形容詞，是表語形容詞，只能做表語，意思是：睡着的。sleeping是形容詞，意思是：睡着的，不一定用做標語，可以用做定語，另外它還是個動名詞。
