ice

ice cream有複數。ice cream既可以當可數名詞，也可以當不可數名詞。當ice cream指的是冰淇淋這個名稱時，不可數。但如果是一杯一杯、一支一支時就是可數的。

1、不可數，表示抽象的冰淇淋或者前面已經有量詞了。

A.表示抽象的冰淇淋

Desserts are served with cream or ice cream.甜點上加奶油或冰激凌。

I'll get you some ice cream.我會給你買些冰激凌。Ice cream is high in fat and sugar.冰激凌富含脂肪和糖。

cream前面已經有量詞了，例：

I ate two dishes of ice cream.我吃了兩碟冰淇淋。The boy ate several dishfuls of ice cream.那小男孩吃了好幾滿盤冰淇淋。

2、可數名詞，指一份冰淇淋。例：

Who wants an ice cream?誰要冰激凌？

The boy charged up and asked for an ice cream.這個男孩跑上來，要了一份冰淇淋。

3、ice cream複數為什麼不加s？

可數名詞的時候，是可以加s的，如The boy charged up and asked for two ice creams.這個男孩跑上來，要了兩份冰淇淋。

I ate two dishes of ice cream.

我吃了兩碟冰淇淋。

The boy ate several dishfuls of ice cream.

那小男孩吃了好幾滿盤冰淇淋。

She made a pig of herself with the ice cream.

她大吃了一通冰激凌。
