sign可數嗎

用作名詞，表示"符號"標牌“手勢”跡象”等均為可數名詞。如:
　　We hung a sign on the door.我們在門上掛了一個招牌。
　　He gave me a sign to leave the room.他示意我離開房間。
　　There are signs of sales increasing.有跡象表明銷售額在增長。

用作動詞，表示"打手勢"，可用作及物或不及物動詞。
　　The policeman signed me to stop.
　　The policeman signed to [for] me to stop.
　　另外還可以表示"籤(名) “或. 上簽字”，也可以是及物或不及物動詞。
　　Have you signed (on) the cheque?
　　注:表示簽名時，sign 只用作動詞，不用作名詞。其相應的名詞為signature。如:
　　The document bore his signature.這份文件有他的簽字。
　　We need signatures and we haven't got enough of them.我們需要簽名，而現在得到的還不夠。
