in on at的地點用法

at作介詞是“在”的意思，表示存在或出現的地點、場所、位置、空間，一般表示小地點；in作介詞是“在……裏面、具有……特性”，一般表示大地點；on作介詞是“在……之上，向，朝”表示處於一個或大或小的平面上，on也可以和星球連用。

in的用法：

1、用在國家、城市或其他地域等大地點前

They live in New York。

他們住在紐約。

2、用在某個地方的內部前

I know my book is somewhere in this room，Can anyone see it?

我知道我的書就在這個房間的什麼地方，有誰看到嗎？

3、用在物理意義上的工作地點前

She works in an open-plan office。

她在一個開敞式的辦公室裏工作。

I’ve always wanted to work on a farm。

我一直想在農場裏工作。（當表示農場farm時，一般用on）

4、用在class前

He found it difficult to concentrate in class。

他覺得很難在課上集中注意力。

at的用法：

1、用在表示地域面積不大的某個點的地方（如飯桌旁、電影院、車站、機場等）前

I was sitting at my desk。

當時我正坐在課桌旁邊。

2、用在公司名稱前（側重表達的是工作的單位，而不是工作地點）

How many people are working at Microsoft？

有多人在微軟工作？

3、用在很多人蔘與的活動場所前

Were you at Lisa’s party/the cinema/the theatre?

你當時在麗莎的聚會上/電影院裏/劇院裏嗎？

4、用在學校前

She always did well at school。

5、用在具體地址、某人家裏前

They once lived at number 12 South George’s Street。

I can’t meet at four，I’ll be at the hairdresser’s until five。

7、用於大多數商店前

I know I left my wallet on the table。

3、用在建築物的樓層前

They live on the 15th floor。

他們住在15樓。

4、用在公共交通工具前

5、用在小島前

She spent her holiday on a small island.
