though和although的區別

although和though的區別：

1、語氣不同

兩詞同義並可換用，但although語氣較though更重，通常放在句首並用於正式場合。如：

I'd quite like to go out,(al)though it is a bit late.我很想外出，雖然為時稍晚。

Although it was snowing,it was not very cold.雖然下着雪，但並不很冷。

2、強調詞位置

用though時，可將強調的詞前置，但although不能。如：

Poor though he is,he is happy.雖然他窮，但過得很愉快。

Child though she was,the actress was drawing a crowd.儘管還是個孩子，這個女演員卻引起了人們的注目。（child前無冠詞a）

3、從句性質不同

although引導從句常指事實，而though引導的句子可表假設。如：

Let's start as arranged though it rains tomorrow.即使明天下雨，咱們也按預定的計劃出發吧。（假設）

He was not unhappy although he had to live alone.雖然得一個人生活，他毫無不快之感。（事實）

4、用作副詞

although只用作連詞，而though除作連詞外，還可用作副詞，常置句末，句子較長時，也置於句中。如：

It's hard work,I enjoy it though.這是苦差事，可我幹得頗有樂趣。

There's no excuse,though,for hurting her feelings.傷到她的感情一事，還是不可原諒。
